Sandpoint is also known for its cultural and musical sponsorship, and hosts The Festival at Sandpoint, an eight-night extravaganza of music at Sandpoint Memorial Field. Beneath the summer sky, with the stars as a backdrop, you can listen to many different styles of music as if the artists were performing in your own backyard. Bring your picnic basket, a blanket, and cooler and enjoy the intimate setting of The Festival at Sandpoint. The Festival at Sandpoint is one of the Northwest foremost music festivals, featuring everything from classical music from the Spokane Symphony to mainstream acts such as The Pretenders, Dwight Yoakam, Robert Cray, Emmylou Harris, Peter Frampton, Willie Nelson, BB King, Lyle Lovett, America, Nanci Griffith and others.
