Silverwood Theme Park, built on a former airstrip complete with an air museum, is now marked by beautiful landscaping, amusement rides, a multi-mile train ride into the woods, a Victorian-themed Main Street area, shops, and game and eating places such as Lindy's Restaurant. Two wooden roller-coasters, the Timber Terror and Tremors, get rave reviews from coaster enthusiasts nationwide. The park is also home to the original Arrow Development Corkscrew, formerly at Knott's Berry Farm. Several other rides for the entire family round out Silverwood's offerings, such as the raft ride Thunder Canyon, a flume ride, bumper cars, bumper boats, Tinywood for the little kids (including a tiny steel coaster), a Ferris Wheel, carousel, gas-powered old-car ride along the Corkscrew, and several well-known carnival-style rides. Fireworks are also featured during the summer weekends.
Now Boulder Beach Water Park is added to a day of fun at Silverwood. "The largest, most advanced of its kind in the Northwest places Idaho, the state famous for potatoes and the great outdoors, on the map for great beaches."
